This Gear Is Brown Or Very Dark Brown (Almost Black) But The Color In Most Cases Will Not Matter As Long As The Tooth Count Is Correct.
We Also Recommend To Replace The Used Housing With A New Speedometer Housing. The Speedometer Housing Is A Must Replacement When Rebuilding Or Sealing Up These Transmissions.
The Original Aluminum Housings Tend To Wear Out And Leak.
This Is A "Plastic Stem" Type Gear And Will Not Replace The Metal Stem Type Gear!!!!
