Note to Jeep owners:
Jeep uses both Chrysler and Aisan Warner transmissions and routes the exhaust in a variety of ways. Take a close look at your existing transmission pan to verify that the shape of the pan perimeter and the bolt pattern are the same as the PML pan you intend to order. The AW pan is shaped like a long narrow rectangle. This Chrysler A500 pan has 14 bolts. Some Jeeps have the Chrysler 42RLE transmission which has 13 bolts.
This pan can also fit an A904 transmission (later called the 30RH). Dodge introduced this transmission in the 1960s and it is found in light duty applications.
Please check your vehicle to be sure you have room for a larger pan (reference pan dimensions). The exhaust system and frame cross members are the primary concerns.
On a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0, the customer moved the part of the exhaust that conflicted with the pan.
The pan has cast-in baffles to reduce sloshing, and a boss that can be drilled and tapped for a temperature sensor.
